As many of you know, I have been searching for an Assistant Dean of Admissions to assist me and the admissions team at FFS. Thank you to those who referred candidates and kept your ear to the ground for me.

After a lengthy search, I have finally discovered an extraordinary individual who has joined The Family Foundation School earlier this month. Glenn Singer, MEd comes to us with more than 15 years of administrative and admissions experience serving small, independent schools. He has put his undergraduate degree in liberal arts and masters degree in private school management to work in leadership positions at several schools in the East and Midwest where he forged strong working relationships with other administrators and key personnel, as well as with parents, alumni and volunteers, in positions such as the Assistant Head of School, Director of Admissions & Development and Director of Alumni and Parent Relations. He has also worked directly with adolescents and young adults as a teacher and mental health counselor.

Off campus, Glenn has been an active supporter of community theater, both on and back stage. Much of his performing has been in musical theater, owning up to his name as a "Singer" and we look forward to his involvement in the performing arts at FFS. He also was an avid tennis player who has already gotten back on the courts with the tennis playing students at FFS.

Glenn shares his home, currently situated on the FFS campus, with his two dogs Sparky and Sienna, and a Bengal cat named Sahara. We are excited to have Glenn join the Family Foundation School family and community and we look forward to the unique contribution he will add based on his extensive private school administrative and admissions experience. He can be reached at gsinger@thefamilyschool.com or 845-887-5213, ext. 212.

Jeff
