Since 1990, the Big Sky Summer Adventures Program has combined outdoor adventure, leadership opportunities, service learning, family involvement, emotional growth and individualized treatment into an action-packed summer. Our program helps adolescents increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and sets students up for success at home and at school. Skilled outdoor professionals and trained therapists guide students through the summer adventures in small, gender specific groups of no more than eight students.
In addition to individual and group therapy, our students will participate in the following activities:
Rafting
Flat water canoeing
Rock climbing
Backpacking
Mountain biking
Service learning projects
Our signature Family Float Trips offer families a unique opportunity to reconnect, improve communication skills, and heal together in a new and exciting environment, away from the distractions of work and home. Skilled mentors and therapists work with families as they spend a week on Montana's beautiful waterways, growing and changing with their child.
Limited space is still available. Please call for more information. Students may enroll prior to the expedition start dates. Aftercare is also available.
