It is an established, experienced addiction treatment & drug rehab center providing life-changing care to people with substance abuse & addictive disorders while providing support for their families. Besides treatment programs, the facility offers hiking trails, horses, a swimming pool, tennis courts, rivers, lakes and lush forests. David A. Cunningham, LADAC, NCACI, CAI, QCS is the Executive Director. Since 1990, Cunningham has been nationally recognized for his involvement in the addiction treatment profession. He has served the addiction profession in multiple capacities including East Tennessee President, Tennessee State President and Southeastern Regional Vice President for The National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Counselors (NAADAC). David Vincent, LADAC, NCAC1, is the Clinical Director. He has worked in the addiction treatment field for the past 23 years, and has been an integral part of the treatment team at English Mountain Recovery since December, 2006. David is responsible for the clinical supervision, oversight, conducts professional trainings, direction of our treatment programs and manages the day-to-day activities of the staff and residents in our care. English Mountain Recovery provides addiction treatment for both men and women ages 18 and up. The drug addiction treatment programs seeks to achieve family healing by teaching the family ways to resist anger, demoralization and codependency while being supportive and kind to one another in all situations. EMR has evolved into a 36 bed nationally recognized treatment center. EMR claim that their 90 day treatment program is more affordable than most 28 day programs. Treatment facilities use a combination of different counseling therapies, acupuncture, EMDR, equine assisted therapy, yoga and nutritional therapy.
