Echo Springs Transition Study Center turned 19 on September 15th.

Character, discipline and direction are hallmarks of the teachings of this young adult program. Founded by Doug Kim-Brown in 1993 and accredited by NIPSA in 2011 as the first young adult transition program nationally, we have been assisting young men and women to move on toward their dreams for 19 years!

Echo Springs is located in north Idaho and works with about twenty students at a time through a three phase program. A blog about life at Echo Springs is now attached to our website and may be found at

Echo Springs Study Transition Center is a post-graduate program 18 to 24 year old men and women looking for new direction. They are typically doubtful of their abilities and talents and are often stuck in self sabotaging patterns of isolation, fearful, hungry for safety and success, confused, challenging, show evidence of the ability to practice the skills and behaviors that lead them to independence and clearer identity, and are ready and willing to grow up. They have also made a decision to make a change in their lives.
