Echo Springs has been invited to speak at the North Idaho College Board of Trustees meeting on May 26, 2010. The topic of the presentation is "Celebrating Success" and Echo Springs will highlight the success our students have experienced at the college, their overall educational goals and long term educational plans.
Currently, of the 11 students enrolled at Echo Springs in Phase Two or Phase Out, four of them have been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa at North Idaho College, an international honor society requiring a 3.5 GPA with a minimum of 12 credits. Two students have also been invited to Psi Beta, a national honor society for psychology majors with a 3.75 GPA. Another has decided to attend Baylor University in the fall on an academic scholarship.
All but one of the current students are also working.
