Clearview Horizons would like to welcome Troy Knight, M.S. to our leadership team. Troy will hold the position of Executive Director. We are excited to have Troy's experience and energy, and believe that he will bring new and unique experiences to our students. Troy has been in the behavioral health care industry for over 15 years, working with adolescents and young adults. He holds a Bachelors degree in Art, and a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration. Troy began his career working with youth in the wilderness, and this is where he realized his true direction in life. Since then, Troy has worked with a number of different types of programs focusing on helping young men and women. Troy began directing residential hospitals in 1999, and has continued to lead hospitals, therapeutic schools and wilderness treatment programs over his career. Troy has a vast knowledge of the treatment industry, with a distinctive comprehension of industry standards, and accreditation processes. Troy is an avid outdoorsman, who loves to share his knowledge and experience with others. Troy is the father of 2 children, who are truly the greatest blessing in his life.

At Clearview our mission is to help girls to grow in Emotional Fitness, Academic Fitness, and Physical Fitness. We reinforce and build Self-Discipline and Self-Respect while developing a positive Self-Image. The students receive behavioral training tools which will benefit them for the rest of their life. Clearview is a program made up of skilled and experienced professionals who help young girls struggling with life problems. Clearview is a "home-like environment" where young girls come to live, grow, develop, and overcome their problems. Clearview is an opportunity for young girls to face their problems, conquer them and rejoin their families.

For the young girls who come to Clearview, we offer:

Professional Therapy
Academic Instruction
Individual and Group Therapy by Licensed Professionals
Experiences designed to build self esteem and self worth
Physical fitness training
Assistance and guidance with understanding life
Guidance in grasping their place in the world
Skilled mentors to assist them in areas beyond the grasp of their families
A non-threatening, supportive home-like environment to solve the overwhelming problems that they face
A supportive, emotionally, and physically safe environment to learn to build relationships, and practice the skills that they are learning.
A supportive, knowledgeable environment for dealing with unplanned pregnancy
A trustworthy environment, where the scars of sexual abuse, physical abuse and trauma can be healed.
Assistance in overcoming eating disorders
A safe place to deal with adoption and abandonment issues
A safe sober environment to focus on their recovery process
AA/NA groups, and substance abuse education and treatment

It has been our Mission to do all these things to help young girls rejoin their families and face the world better equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in life.

The therapeutic home style environment lends itself to the mission of building self-discipline and self respect, while developing a positive and solid self-image. Consequently, the program is highly structured and responsibilities are taken very seriously. Clearview is a Christian based program. The girls attend Sunday services and youth group if interested, and grace is said at dinner. The Clearview student learns to complete tasks and the importance of the Work Ethic. Students will attend school, receive tutoring when necessary, and participate in after school activities. Students at Clearview have the opportunity to catch up on their education, and graduate with their high school diploma.

Once again we would like to welcome Troy Knight, M.S. to the Clearview family. If you have any questions regarding the Clearview program or admission information please contact Troy Knight at 208-610-6868 or Mary Thielbahr at 208-263-5894.
