As you know, Chapel Haven opened its doors in September of 1972 on Chapel Street in New Haven, CT, founded by parents who wanted their special needs children to become truly independent. We moved to our current location in 1976, and from our grassroots beginnings, Chapel Haven has become a nationally accredited transitional independent living program. We are very proud that today, we serve more than 250 adults with cognitive disabilities, Asperger Syndrome and those on the autism spectrum with three distinct programs: REACH (New Haven), the Asperger Syndrome Adult Transition Program (New Haven) and Chapel Haven West (Tucson, AZ).
To celebrate this milestone, we are sponsoring some special events on our campuses in New Haven and Tucson, AZ that will be open to the public and will give prospective families a chance to learn more about us. All events are free, but registration is required to help us plan. Please call Connie Brand at (203) 397-1714, ext. 111 for more info.
