Cedar Ridge Academy Therapeutic Boarding School is proud to announce the addition of Jason Law and Jacob Auna to the clinical team. Diversification within a clinical team allows Cedar Ridge Academy to offer a variety of rich backgrounds, expertise, and unique skills to support each student's personal growth. Our program focuses on supporting academic and therapeutic growth through improvement of social skills, increasing self-awareness and personal development.

Jason Law, LCSW
Education:
  • Bachelor of Science - Psychology, Utah State University
  • Masters of Social Work, University of Utah

Professional Work Experience:
  • 12+ years Wilderness Therapeutic Programs
  • 14+ years Private Practice
  • 8+ years Therapeutic work with the state of Utah

Interests:
  • Outdoor Enthusiast
  • Enjoys Coaching Youth Tennis and Softball Leagues


Jacob Auna, Pending LCSW
Education:
  • Bachelor of Social Work, Brigham Young University - Hawaii
  • Master of Social Work, Brigham Young University - Provo

Professional Work Experience:
  • Intern as Therapist - Wasatch Mental Health
  • Intern as Development Specialist - Deseret Industries
  • Intern as Case Manager - Native Hawaiian Organization for Orphaned Hawaiian Children

Interests:
  • Enjoys Surfing, Skateboarding, Volleyball, Basketball, a variety of Outdoors Activities and many more Extreme Sports
  • Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America
  • Speaks Tagalog after serving a two year Church Mission in the Philippines


Through modeling and teaching we guide youth in a process of positive behavioral change as they acquire the skills and self-knowledge needed to form healthy relationships with others and utilize their individual inner strengths to become mature, well-balanced, productive persons.
