CALO has recently gone through a major rebranding project with a corresponding change in logo. CALO used a national firm and spent months on the rebrand project and has enjoyed the positive response so far.

CALO Founder Dr. Ken Huey explains, "We had a mismatch with our old logo showing a lake and tree that was tied to one location in Lake Ozark, Missouri. But we are growing and will be in locations other than just Missouri and that didn't fit the old logo." One example of this growth is CALO's new partnership with New Vision Wilderness. Future plans include CALO Charlotte (NC) to complement CALO Teens and CALO Preteens in Lake Ozark. As CALO grows, a reworking of their logo made sense.

They also decided to end the use of CALO as an acronym. It is now just used to denote the small group of sister programs. Explains Dr. Huey, "We have no desire to be the next Aspen. We strive to be the nation's focused experts on trauma and attachment for parent choice programming. Any growth will fit that vision only."

Listen to Ken Huey explain how CALO-MO has been a leading school working with teens with serious attachment disorders for several years, including Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). They are expanding by planning a program for younger kids, pre-teens, on an adjacent property that will open to enrollment probably in October, with an ultimate capacity of 44 students.

CALO provides specialized therapy for teens struggling with trauma, attachment disorder, or mood regulation issues.
