I have closed my special needs practice to become the President and CEO of The Education Group, a Dallas based firm that does Head and administrative searches, teacher placement and management consulting for independent schools nationally.
Twenty five years ago, Mike Shepperd and I along with three other partners founded this firm. Four of us sold our shares by the early 90's, and the remaining partner has run the firm since. She is now ill and must retire, so they have asked me to step in.
I leave with mixed feelings.
I will say goodbye to many wonderful friends, but I am excited about the new challenge.
