The Adventure Education department at Boulder Creek Academy is pleased to announce the development of two new trip categories. Recognizing the immense therapeutic value of working with the whole family unit, we now will include siblings on two of our parent /child trips. We will also start offering alumni trips which will give former BCA students an opportunity to reconnect and to reinforce the principles they learned during their time at the school.
We are also excited to unveil our new Adventure Education brochure. This booklet, filled with inspiring photos, describes some of the many rewarding expeditions that are being offered at BCA. The most recent trips have included dog sledding, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and horse packing in the Montana wilderness. Academic trips have included participation in the Presidential Classroom in Washington, D.C., a paleontology dig, and a Shakespeare festival in Oregon.
Next year's schedule promises to provide even more exciting opportunities for our students and their families. We will offer our popular parent/child trips as well as academic adventures and honor trips.
