Three Springs Auldern Academy in Siler City, North Carolina, recently graduated twelve seniors in a ceremony held on the campus of this personal growth boarding school for girls.

The girls, dressed all in white and carrying yellow roses, walked in a procession around a scenic pond before stepping onto the graduation stage.

According to Bill Grant, Assistant Head of School, each of these graduates was accepted into an institution of higher learning. The girls submitted applications to over 30 colleges and universities and were accepted to those listed below:

Guilford College, Catawba College, University of Montana, Delaware College of Art and Design, Savannah College of Art and Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, Texas Tech, Ivy Tech State College, Hofstra University, Rider University, Suffolk University, LaSalle University, Duquesne University, Drexel University, Green Mountain College, Augsburg College, Oglethorpe University, Queens University, Armstrong Atlantic University, Georgia Southern University, St. Mary’s College, Seminole Community College, Tallahassee Community College, Fordham University, St. Johns University, Adelphi University, Manhattan College, Texas Wesleyan Universities, Austin College, and California State Universities at San Bernadino, Humbolt, Sonoma and Northridge.

Additionally, Auldern Academy Class of 2007 graduates applied for and received over $160,000 in scholarships. Head of School Jane Samuel attributes the 100% college acceptance rate of this year’s graduates to the outstanding staff and faculty members of the Auldern Academic Department.

Also instrumental in preparing the girls for college admission was Student Life Counselor Niki James who developed and taught a life skills course entitled “College and Beyond.”
