Asheville Academy for Girls, a leading therapeutic boarding school for young girls ages 10-14, proudly announces the appointment of Leslie Beckman, MBA, as their new Director of Business Development and Marketing.

"We are excited to bring Leslie's passion and dedication to our team," comments Cat Jennings, Executive Director of Asheville Academy for Girls. "With her many years of experience, she will help Asheville Academy grow even stronger than we already are."

Leslie has over 12 years of behavioral healthcare administration and marketing experience in residential and outpatient therapeutic settings. For nine years she served as the Operations Director and Healthcare Coordinator for Evangelhouse Christian Academy. There, she assisted in the launch of their therapeutic treatment model, as well as brand development and marketing.

In 2013, she graduated from University of Louisiana - Lafayette with a Master of Business Administration degree, concentrating in Healthcare Administration. Prior to accepting her position with Asheville Academy for Girls, Leslie was working in marketing for Lepage Associates Psychological and Psychiatric Services. Leslie will work alongside Kathryn Huffman, Director of Admissions, with Leslie focused on developing awareness and understanding of Asheville Academy while Kathryn will continue handling admissions.

"I am very excited to return to working in the adolescent behavioral health field," says Leslie, "I'm really passionate about helping others and providing restorative care. It's especially thrilling to work with Asheville Academy, who are leaders amongst gender and age group specific programs."

Leslie is looking forward to building relationships and working together with educational consultants to help families and their young daughters.
