Ashcreek Ranch Academy, a premier accredited residential treatment center for adolescent boys, is pleased to announce the promotion of Garth Lasater to Executive Director. Garth is a founding member of the Ashcreek Ranch team in 2012 and has served as Associate Director for the past six years.

Garth has over 25 years of experience working in residential treatment programs. He specializes in helping adolescents and their families address substance abuse related disorders, oppositional defiance, depression, and family systems issues. He has extensive clinical experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, teaching life skills, and educating individuals to maintain sustained recovery.

Prior to Ashcreek Ranch, Garth was the Outpatient Director of the Utah Alcoholism Foundation's Central Utah Treatment Center where he worked with substance abusing clients in a 60-day inpatient program. He also has worked for the Division of Family Services within the State of Utah assisting families and adolescents in crisis.

Garth received his Bachelor's Degree in social work from Brigham Young University and his Master's Degree in social work from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He has received awards for his work in clinical depression and has extensive training in special addictions such as pornography and other sexual behaviors.
