Broadway veterans Dallyn Bayles (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) and Sandra Turley (Les Miserables) will perform at ANASAZI Foundation’s 2014 Scholarship Gala on November 22 in Gilbert, Arizona. Held at the SanTan Elegante conference center, the event is expected to raise more than $100,000 for families seeking financial assistance to save a child struggling with depression, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, or other emotional or behavioral concerns.

Bayles and Turley’s concert will follow ANASAZI’s annual silent auction and a tribute to five ANASAZI alumni – young people who have overcome significant personal challenges to achieve goals that once seemed impossible. Those selected as Young Leaders will receive college scholarships from Forever Young Foundation, founded by NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young.

The gala will also honor the recipient of this year’s Turn for Peace award, presented annually to individuals making a profound impact in the lives of children. Past recipients include Young, former First Lady Barbara Bush, NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr, author Stephen R. Covey, entertainers Marie Osmond and Wynonna Judd, homebuilder T.W. Lewis, and Family Circus creator Bil Keane.

For gala reservations or more information, call (480) 892-7403 or visit www.anasazi.org. Those wishing to contribute an item to the silent auction are encouraged to contact Sean Rourke at sean.rourke@anasazi.org.
