Alpine Academy just returned from our annual adventure trip to Moab, UT. Every year we take all of our students, teachers, therapists and residential staff down to Arches National Park for three days of camping, hiking, and enjoying the awe-inspiring vistas of the red rocks of Southern Utah.

The weather was perfect for us again this year; both sunrise and the stars at night were breathtaking.

And, as always, the girls in the Family & Consumer Science classes did a stellar job planning, preparing and serving not-your-regular type of gourmet camping meals! The girls also enjoy having school classes and fun, experiential learning activities outside of the classroom. In the photos below you can see a group eating lunch at Partition Arch and our History teacher teaching a class up on some rocks near our campground.

We are all looking forward to our next adventure to Wyoming in August!

Alpine Academy offers family-based residential treatment that is uniquely successful at helping teenage girls learn the skills to succeed at home, in school, and with their own families. We are proud to be a part of Utah Youth Village, one of Utah's oldest and largest charities providing treatment to children and families in crisis. Since 1969, our programs have been changing young lives for the better.
