Alchemy Adventures is excited to announce a Costa Rica spring break trip from March 22-30th. The trip includes a four day homestay on a small organic farm in La Tigra. While there students will learn about how the farm works, including volunteering in the farming process, and participate in a farm to table cooking lesson of the traditional Costa Rican meal, Arroz con Pollo. Adventures while in La Tigra include professionally guided waterfall rappelling, a canopy zip-line tour, and a night at one of the many the hot springs near Arenal Volcano.
The second half of the trip will be in the town of Montezuma on the Nicoya Peninsula. There our days will be spent hiking through the jungle to a massive waterfall, beach hikes though nature preserves, surfing and playing in the waves, and watching from the balconies of our hotel as Capuchin monkeys frolic to and fro. This simple and joyful culture will give us an opportunity to reflect on what creates passion and joy in our own lives.
This trip offers young adults an opportunity to experience another culture, witness the nature of this beautiful country, and reflect upon what they want to create in their lives in the coming year.
