A bunch of city boys and a couple of two-thousand pound animals, basically describes Agape's Second Annual Rodeo week. Everything from the most dangerous 8 seconds in the sporting world to tying a bow around a cows tail took place during this rodeo week.
Previous rodeos that took place earlier this year allowed students to accumulate points towards this week's finals. There was a championship in each event and belt buckles were awarded to the champions of each event.
The winners were as follows:
Quinlan Beaird- Bronc rider of the year,
Joe Rios- Chute Dogging champion,
Steven Shnowske- Cattle event champion,
Lyonya Pryzbyl- Speed event champion,
Kenny Edmonds- bull rider of the year,
And
Alex Daw- All around "Cowboy of the Year".
In addition to these awards, other awards were given out too.
Thank you to all who donated, volunteered, and helped in this year's rodeo.
