Wilderness Treatment Center is proud to announce our re-accreditation with The Association for Experiential Education. The Association for Experiential Education (AEE) Accreditation Program is the nation's first recognized accreditation process focusing on adventure experiential education programming. Wilderness Treatment Center has been an AEE accredited program since 1999.

The Association for Experiential Education (AEE) is a nonprofit, professional membership association dedicated to experiential education and the students, educators and practitioners who utilize its philosophy.

"We are proud to be associated with AEE," says Patrick Hawkins, clinical director at Wilderness Treatment Center, "AEE affords us the ability to conduct our practices at to the highest standards and the process of accreditation insures that we provide the highest quality of care". Wilderness Treatment Center is one of only a small handful of therapeutic programs accredited by AEE.

Since it's inception in 1983, WTC has successfully treated young men/male teens from all over the world. Wilderness Treatment Center is the first and only addiction treatment program to incorporate a traditional 30-day inpatient treatment with a wilderness expedition for young men and male teens. Located on a 4,000 acre working cattle ranch, Wilderness Treatment Center's primary goal is to introduce males 14 to 24 years of age to a new way of life free from drugs and alcohol.
