Bellwood House is a non-profit boarding house in Montana for young women with drug and alcohol problems. They accept young women, ages 14-24 who need extended care after drug and alcohol treatment, or those suffering relapse.

According to their material, Bellwood House uses a relational counseling model combined with a 12-Step program, equine therapy, individualized academic plans, computer education and spiritual support.

Bellwood House implements daily structure and routines to create positive attitudes. Effective dialogue is exchanged to create healthy relationships, an interesting and satisfying learning environment, and to allow students to receive helpful feedback from communicating with their horses. Students also interact with the neighborhood and community to prepare them for a drug free lifestyle.
