TurnAround Ranch is a 12-Step based program in Montana, for boys age 12-17. Typical students struggle with defiant behavior, manipulation, low self-esteem and lack of motivation, difficulties with family relationships and/ or experimenting with drugs/ alcohol.

According to their material, TurnAround offers academics, communication courses, process groups and counseling. Topics cover effective communication, listening, identifying/ coping with emotions, and planning a transition back to their home/ society.

TurnAround implements the use of rugged wilderness, generally consisting of hiking, camping and working on service projects to help the students break down the barriers that interrupt a healthy lifestyle.
