Sarah Casson has been promoted to admissions director at SageWalk, the Wilderness School in Redmond, Oregon, effective immediately. SageWalk, the first wilderness program to be individually accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, is licensed by the State of Oregon to work with students who are experiencing issues with substance abuse, and is also licensed by the State of Oregon as both an Outdoor Youth Program and Private School. Casson previously served as admissions counselor for SageWalk, responsible for numerous student admissions duties, developing positions on the Parent CheckIn web site, and marketing and coordinating conferences and professional visits.

"She has proven to be a leader in the SageWalk family and demonstrated exceptional relationship-building skills. Her willingness to learn and motivation to excel have allowed her to really grow within our program."
Prior to joining SageWalk, Casson worked as an intern at St. Mary's Boys Home in Portland while attending Portland State University where she studied psychology. Sarah is passionate about SageWalk and possesses the energy and enthusiasm that will help make this a positive and successful transition.
SageWalk, the Wilderness School was founded in 1997 and was acquired by Aspen Education Group in 2005. SageWalk is located in the high desert of Central Oregon. It operates year-round and maintains an open enrollment policy for admissions.
