New Admissions Officer Announced at Telos

Telos Residential Treatment Center (RTC) of Orem welcomes a new admission's officer. Kristin Williams, an experienced public educator and counselor, will be the new admission's officer at Telos RTC.

"The admissions officer is one of the most critical positions in a treatment center," said Craig LaMont, chief executive officer of Telos RTC. "Everything Kristin has taken charge of in her career or personal life has been a success. She has an amazing ability to work with people. She was the perfect choice for this job. I have complete confidence in her."

Williams, who earned a master's degree in counseling psychology and an educational administration license from Utah State University, will begin her tenure as the Telos admission's officer the last week of May.

Williams is currently a full partner in Telos Academy, the academic arm of Telos RTC, where she is also the principal. She will continue to participate in Telos Academy as the principal, as well as be the admission's officer for Telos RTC.

Williams has worked in the public school system for 15 years. Most recently she was employed as the principal at Mound Fort Middle School / Junior High. She is the former director of the Family Community Resource Center at Central Middle School, and has also worked as a counselor at Lewis Elementary School. She is married to Greg Williams and they have two daughters.

The admission's officer at Telos RTC is a personal representative who works directly with parents and referral sources to evaluate and oversee the placement of a child. The officer ensures students and families can successfully work with Telos.

Telos RTC is a relationship based program helping teenage boys ages 13 to 17 who struggle with emotional disorders, such as clinical depression, anxiety and or social phobias.
