New Academic Director
Appointed at Shortridge Academy

We are very pleased to announce that Sarah Wagner has been appointed the next Academic Director of Shortridge Academy.

Sarah has been with Shortridge since its inception in 2002 and has been in the role of Interim Academic Director since the beginning of this year. Sarah has held positions at the school as a teacher, an academic and program advisor to the students and also served as the Assistant Academic Director for more than two years.

Prior to Shortridge Sarah taught for ten years in a diverse range of educational environments. She has experience teaching Science, Math, History and Language Arts and is dedicated to challenging students to excel intellectually and emotionally in a school environment. She has also participated in team-building and leadership education as a program administrator, teacher, and trip-leader.

A graduate of Brown University with a B.A. honors in Educational Studies, Sarah is a candidate (May 2007) for her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership at Union University.
