Homeward Bound is pleased to announce that President and CEO, Tim Thayne will be interviewed live on Utah radio station K-Talk (AM 630) from 8:00am - 9:00am on Thursday, February 22, 2007. The program, hosted by Boyd Matheson is also available for listening via the web at www.K-talk.com.

In this interview, Tim will be sharing his insight into the world of complete care for struggling teens and their families. From intervention to wilderness programs, from residential treatment to out-patient therapy to the all important transition back home - Tim will cover the complete process with a focus on achieving lasting change and success.

Homeward Bound is committed to assisting teens and families through the often difficult transition from a 24/7 structured environment of a wilderness or residential program to the challenges of a less structured family life. Home can also have family difficulties which may need to be resolved. In preparation for the interview Tim commented, "Utah is a haven for fantastic wilderness and residential treatment programs for struggling teens. Homeward Bound partners with these programs to ensure that teens can transfer home what they learned through their program experience and successfully negotiate current and future life transitions."

In what will be a fast-paced and informative hour, Tim Thayne, with host Boyd Matheson, will explore what parents and families can do to help their struggling teen get on a solid path leading to health and happiness. The researched-based foundations of Homeward Bound's model will be shared including discussion on how parents can create the right context for adolescent development and transition to adulthood. Homeward Bound's powerful multi- systemic "Home Team" approach to create a support system around the family along with their cutting edge video coaching process will be discussed.

Boyd Matheson stated, "I am truly looking forward to having Tim Thayne be part of our program on the 22nd. Tim and the Homeward Bound team are doing extraordinary things to unite families and create lasting change in the lives of teens. They have a vision which encompasses total care and all that is needed and necessary to produce outcomes that will last. Homeward Bound is a great example of what can happen when people are committed to making a difference."
