New Hampshire Summer Program Now Accepting Applications for Summer 2007
(boys and girls, ages 6 to 18)
The Wediko School & Treatment Program Currently has Openings & Newly Renovated Dorms
(boys, ages 6 to 21)
Families seeking the comprehensive psychological and educational services Wediko provides are encouraged to apply immediately.
Wediko’s 45-day Summer Program is the nation’s oldest short-term residential treatment facility; since 1934, the program has been a model of excellence in serving youth struggling with social, emotional, and learning issues. The 450-acre waterfront campus is a therapeutic milieu for children ages 6 to 18, combining the activity-based structure of a summer camp with the academic instruction and intensive clinical intervention of a residential school. Working closely with each child’s family, school, and referral agencies, Wediko strives to return children home with a renewed sense of competence and hope.
Located on the same campus, the year-round, residential School & Treatment Program captures success and restores hope in children with pervasive histories of failure, frustration, and fractured attempts at success. With a focus on returning each child to his home and community as soon as possible, Wediko utilizes multi-disciplinary teams, individualized treatment plans, and a strengths-based, family-centered approach. The School & Treatment Program serves boys ages 6 to 21 with a focus on a specialized education and collaboration with family, school, and community. Individual, group, family, and milieu therapy is provided.
Wediko invites you to visit our campus. We are located just two hours from Boston and would love to give you a tour of our setting and show you our newly-renovated dorms. Contact Pat or Rand if you are interested.
