Hello all,

We at Palmer Adventures and the Adventure Academy USA are readying for another semester of adventure, discipleship, and team-building. This is shaping up to be an awesome semester.

We have been afforded some pretty awesome logistical opportunities and just wanted to spread the word!

We are offering a staff training/evaluation trip for Jan. 3-10th with a culminating 10 day expedition where we will travel by snowshoe through the Central Oregon winterlands. This will surely stretch our candidates and students (who will also be on the trip!).

Training spots are still available, especially for females, and we encourage you to tell anyone you think would be interested (potential staff or students). We are not full yet, and could use a few more souls...

In other news... our website has been updated! If you have not checked it out lately, you are in for a treat. I know that many of you are checking up on us regularly, but for those that don't... shame on you! We are the only program of our kind, and as such we need YOU to get the word out about us. Parents are just not informed about programs like ours and too often settle for secular programs that will minimize, or attack, the values and beliefs of Christian families. We must stand together in this.

• We offer the SALT program for summer adventure leadership training.



• We NOW offer Oregon's ONLY licensed (Christian) Outdoor Youth Program ("wilderness therapy") This took us THREE years to complete and we were certainly not helped along by the other organizations in this field. Help us show the state of Oregon, and the nation, that Christian programs can stand alongside, and before!, secular programs.
