Academy at Canyon Creek would like to announce the appointment of Jordan Larsen, LCSW to the position of Director of Clinical Services. Jordan will join us full time this November 27.

For the past 11 years, he has been working extensively with adolescents and their families in various therapeutic settings and schools. His style is straightforward and he has a caring and insightful approach to therapy. Jordan graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Psychology and finished his Master's degree in Social Work in 1998. Before coming to the Academy Jordan spent five years at Lifeline Adolescent Treatment Center and the past five years with Gateway Academy in Salt Lake City where he served as an integral member of the clinical team; he helped to establish this program and assisted in the development of an additional site in Draper, Utah.

Jordan's program development experience, leadership skills and therapeutic experience will be beneficial to both staff and students at the academy. As Director of Clinical Services, Jordan is looking forward to creating a safe, positive environment where students can learn the skills necessary to live a healthy lifestyle. His interests include music, humanitarian service, surfing and traveling. Jordan currently resides in Centerville, Utah with his wife and two children and will be moving near the facility over the next few months.
