On behalf of the Adirondack Leadership Expeditions, I am delighted to announce that Robert Theisen Ph.D. has accepted the position of Clinical Director.
Dr. Theisen is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Vrije University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Robert brings to this position extensive experience working with families and adolescents. His experience also includes working abroad at Summit Institute, a residential therapeutic community in Jerusalem, Israel which treated young adults with severe psychopathology.
He has supervised therapeutic social workers, treated adolescent refugees with posttraumatic stress, and adolescents with the full range of DSM IV diagnoses. Robert is also a specialist in diagnosing the student issues, thereby ensuring the correct intervention.
Robert is an outdoor enthusiast whose credentials and experience make him perfect for the role of Clinical director at Adirondack Leadership Expeditions.
