Founded by Kevin Crowley and Ian Foster, Perfect Balance Programs, LLC is a short- term international emotional growth program for males ages 12-18. The website says they are "careful to not deal with religion," but they "deal with the soul to assist students, their families and employees in achieving the balance between mind, body and soul through trainings, regular exercise, healthy diet, meditation/prayer, service and cultural experiences."

This 28-day program takes students to various foreign countries for a 25-day mission, which includes education and service work, such as helping small villages build fresh water supply facilities. The program also includes a one day Family Seminar. The program accepts boys currently in a program or those that have graduated from a program but may be slipping into past negative tendencies. The staff to student ratio is 1:5.

The program also has course work and trainings for the youth in academic skills, health education, finances and principles of character. Perfect Balance is academically accredited through Brigham Young University and each student will finish two, 0.5 credit independent study classes during the month. The academic component includes the basic education curriculum as well as leadership skills and a travel studies course.
