Woodland Spring Lodge Joins NATSAP

Woodland Spring Lodge, a long-term therapeutic residential program for youth experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties, has been accepted for membership by the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP).

NATSAP is comprised of therapeutic schools, residential treatment programs, wilderness programs, outdoor therapeutic programs, young adult programs and home-based residential programs.

All programs applying for membership in NATSAP must meet the following criteria.

  • Be licensed by the appropriate state agency authorized to set and oversee standards of therapeutic and/or behavioral healthcare for youth and adolescents or accredited by a nationally recognized behavioral health accreditation agency;

  • Have therapeutic services with oversight by a qualified clinician; and

  • Support NATSAP Ethical Principles and Principles of Good Practice.


Woodland Spring Lodge is a program of Boys & Girls Town of Missouri, which has 60 years experience in residential treatment care. For more information visit www.woodlandspring.org.

NATSAP was created in January of 1999 to serve as a national resource for programs and professionals assisting young people beleaguered by emotional and behavioral difficulties.
