Ron Mendenhall visits Woodbury Reports

Ron Mendenhall, President of Monarch School stopped by Woodbury Reports for a visit on his way through his home town of Bonners Ferry.

Ron Mendenhall is a north Idaho native who brings the unique perspective of having lived in this beautiful area all of his life. Growing up, he enjoyed many activities including all types of sports, and the outdoors. Ron feels that growing up in a safe, supportive, learning environment was a tremendous asset to his development as a young adult. Ron has been working with children for over 18 years in various schools and settings. He has specialized training in working with children that have learning disabilities, anger issues, emotional control and self-discipline problems. Ron helped start Monarch School in 2001.

Monarch School was established to create a college preparatory school with an atmosphere designed to promote academic excellence, positive self image, strong character traits and sound reasoning in teenagers. All students must face personal challenges in order to build the necessary foundation to support these goals and fulfill their individual visions.
