It is with great pleasure that I announce John Cohen as Clinical Director of WinGate Wilderness Therapy. Scott Hess will remain as a Partner, Primary Therapist, and will now take a more active role in Business Development. We have also added a great therapist to the WinGate and WayPoints team!

In addition, WinGate Wilderness Therapy welcomes Greg Burnham, LMFT as a Primary Wilderness Therapist.

Early on in his education Greg was drawn to the idea of helping families find healing and peace in their lives and relationships. That passion and love continues in his work today. Along the way, he has discovered the joy of helping adolescents find their own peace and healing. Greg's describes this by explaining "I have found particular success working with individuals who are angry and wanting to go to war with the world. It is amazing to experience their hearts melt when they let their walls down and begin to be honest." He also loves working with people who have given up on life and who have lost hope experiencing deep depression. Having spent the last 8 years working with amazing adolescent girls and their families he found success with Trauma, Drug and Alcohol Dependence, Suicidality, Borderline Personality Disorder and Attachment disorders. Greg believes that with a sound understanding of systems theory, with an ability to listen to our clients will open doors that were previously thought to be closed.

Personally he loves spending time with his wife, son and 3 daughters. Aside from his family Greg enjoys running marathons, biking, singing, hiking, and just about anything active. As an active volunteer with the boy scouts he loves being in nature. "I find healing myself in the quiet peace I find in nature." he said.

Thank you for your support and confidence. We recognize what a great trust you have put in us, and we look forward to working with you in the future.
all the best,

Shayne Gallagher
