Wilderness Treatment Center clients have been busy visiting local schools in the past two weeks. Schools in the Flathead Valley, MT are addressing drug awareness and Wilderness Treatment Center is assisting in this by allowing their clients to share personal experiences with chemicals and the troubles drugs have caused. "We are glad to be a part of this effort to inform students of the problems caused by chemical use. By allowing students to hear it from people just like them, it has more meaning. It is also valuable for our clients to recognize that their story can be beneficial for others - this allows them to let go of some of the stigma related to their chemical dependency," says Patrick Hawkins Clinical Director of WTC.
