Wilderness Quest is pleased to announce that Troy Knight, M.S. has been appointed as Executive Director, and charged with leading our Wilderness Quest team. He has held the position of Program Director and Quality Assurance Director for Wilderness Quest over the past two years. Troy has been in the field of behavioral health care for over 15 years, and has served in multiple administrative roles. Troy holds a masters degree in Health Care Administration. Troy is very experienced in the area of program development, and he has specialized training in Joint Commission standards and compliance. Troy is an avid outdoors person, and has a vast amount of experience working with therapeutic wilderness programs.

Wilderness Quest has recently completed a strategic planning process. We have amended our business plan in order to meet the current needs of the families we serve and adapt to our ever changing industry. Wilderness Quest has maintained its status as an independent privately owned company for over 35 years. We continue our commitment to provide the same quality services that has been our ensign for the past thirty-five years. All of us at Wilderness Quest will continue to operate with relentless dedication to safety and by applying our program philosophies that have been self-evident since the founding of our program. Wilderness Quest will continue as the foremost wilderness therapy program in the area of addiction and dual diagnosis with adolescents and young adults. Our approach is to build a deliberate, consistent growth plan, ensuring that the quality of our program meets the expectations of our families and referring professionals. We are delighted to continue to draw upon our vast history and philosophy of Wilderness Quest to assist us in our mission of helping to heal families. We are very grateful to the key leaders, who over the years, have contributed to the development and the advancement of Wilderness Quest.
