Today, Wilderness Quest announced that its program will suspend operations until after the New Year. Wilderness Quest maintains its reputation as the most effective 12-step wilderness recovery program in the field, and we will continue on going stronger than ever when we re-open.

While we are closed we will be working with a nonprofit organization: Harvest Foundation, to help raise funding for families that need financial assistance. The foundation was established to create a significant scholarship fund for the benefit of adolescents and young adults seeking recovery. The mission of the Harvest Foundation is to give young people who struggle with addictions and substance abuse a second chance at a sober and productive life.

Wilderness Quest will resume operations on February 10, 2010. An admissions director will be available continuously through this period of time, to answer questions and help parents. Wilderness Quest would like to thank you all for your support and we look forward to providing exceptional services to you and your families for years to come.

We wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday season!

About Wilderness Quest:
Wilderness Quest provides a way back from substance use for adolescents 14 - 17 and young adults 18 - 28. One step at a time.

Wilderness Quest is the only wilderness-based substance abuse treatment program operated by a recovering 12-step Staff. Because of our background we understand the needs and emotional pain of recovering families. At Wilderness Quest we have the experience, education and training to help you, your family member and your family becomes united in traveling the road of recovery.

Through a combination of intensive wilderness living and strongly facilitated 12-step model self-discovery, students achieve changes in substance use/abuse, personal-
responsibility, accountability, maturity and behavior.
