Southern California private investigator and business owner Allen P. Cardoza was elected as President of W.A.D. for the 2008 term. Cardoza is President of West Shield Investigations which is headquartered in Huntington Beach, Ca.
With educational seminars and in-depth discussion on industry integrity and common goals, this conference reflected many professionals' realization that the best way to address Government licensing bodies and multi national corporations is by having one large, highly reputable and professional, representative body which can demonstrate high standards and self regulation.
The Zurich Conference saw the election and installation of additional W.A.D. officers such as 1st V.P. Greg Scott from North Carolina, U.S.A., 2nd V.P. Rashid Malik from Pakistan and 3rd V.P. Vladimir Solomanidin from Russia. Retiring President Eric Shelmerdine from England was elected and installed as Chairman of the Board of Directors and was also presented with the coveted "Investigator of the Year" Award.This list of elected officers truly reflects the International representation of the Association's global membership.
A Global Vision for Investigators
West Shield Investigations was established in 1981 with a world vision principle.
"Investigations can have no geographical boundaries when the purpose is to find resolution and truth," says Cardoza." Such boundaries can be a hindrance to this purpose." Cardoza says passionately, "W.A.D. epitomizes integrity and commitment in our profession and I am honored to be an officer in this great organization".
The W.A.D. presidency allows Cardoza to lead other investigators in his global pursuit of excellence for investigators world wide.
Allen Cardoza specializes in international child abduction cases. Increased global access for everyone can translate into a new set of problems. International child abductions are not an epidemic; however, any parent who can not locate the child in which they have custody because of international obstacles is overwhelmed with grief and desperation. Allen has been instrumental in returning to the custodial parent or guardian over 70 stolen children. Successfully working in many different countries.
Cardoza's sister company, West Shield Adolescent services has successfully recovered hundreds of runaway teens. returning them to their homes, schools or specialized programs throughout the U.S.
