Expansion Of
Mental Health Services

To the Friends of West Ridge Academy:

I am pleased to announce an expansion of West Ridge Academy's mental health services.

For almost 50 years, West Ridge Academy has been providing excellent clinical care for youth and their families within the residential treatment setting. Over the course of time, we have come to recognize a vast need for access to more comprehensive services along the entire continuum of care. In an effort to more fully respond to the ranging needs of youth and families within our community, West Ridge Academy has opened two new programs: West Ridge Academy's Outpatient Clinic & West Ridge Academy's In-home Services program, also referred to as TENEO. In additional to individual and family therapy, West Ridge Academy will also be offering psycho-educational and support groups for adolescents.

Throughout the years I have worked in outpatient, residential, aftercare, and crisis work settings. Because of my experience working throughout the continuum of care, I have come to appreciate the unique benefits that each level of care offers. I have also come to recognize the reality that clients often require transition between those levels throughout the recovery process. With the introduction of West Ridge Academy's new outpatient and in-home programs, we hope to be able to meet the varying needs of struggling families and allow for smooth transitions along the continuum of care for clients who require such adjustments throughout their treatment.

As a representative of West Ridge Academy, I appreciate our association with each of you as we work together to provide families with opportunities for hope and healing. I look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts as we open our doors to help more families in need.
