It is with mixed emotions that I let you know Diana Parad, Program Director of Wediko's Boston-based School Based Services, has announced that she will retire at the end of August 2014. While Diana will be missed beyond imagination, her accomplishments will remain visible for decades to come.

Diana began her career at the Wediko NH Summer Program in 1972, working with what was then known as 'Cabin 1' (youngest boys). She was one of the first Mayors of Think City before switching career paths from education to social work. As many of you already know, Diana has been integral to the growth and development of School-Based Services since its inception nearly thirty-five years ago. No matter the program, the decade or the individual, Diana Parad has touched nearly every aspect of Wediko's success.

Diana has dedicated the past forty two years to the children, families, schools, and staff with whom Wediko is privileged to work. We know that the clinical and organizational foundation she has helped establish will support the success and continued expansion of Wediko services for years to come.

I hope you will join me in wishing Diana and Harry the best in the next steps of their journey.

Best,
Amy C. Sousa, PhD
Executive Director
