The criteria for admission includes students with symptoms of depression, as this is often associated with anxiety disorders. Students enrolled at WayPoint are not "troubled youth" and their admission is not a result of extensive misbehavior. Family participation is essential in the healing process. Through family therapy, parent visits, and seminars, WayPoint directs families toward making adjustments and changes to support the student's progress.
