Josey Milner, the 18 year old country music artist with her hit singles "Cowgirls" and "Not Pretty Enough", joined hosts Lon Woodbury and Elizabeth McGhee on K4HD.com, "The Woodbury Report" at 12:00pm, to chat about her involvement as an 'Angel Ambassador" with Angels and Doves, a nonprofit, nationwide anti-bullying organization that spreads the word about bullying at schools and large classes. "The more people you can reach, the better the communication, the more people you can bring the awareness of bullying to" Josey emphasized.

Josey, a recent Magna Cum Laude high school graduate from a public high school, credits her great grandmother as a significant role model and her parents who "taught her to be respectful of herself and to have confidence," believes that there is not one certain group or certain kids that get bullied, "everyone can get bullied. Everyone breathes the same air and no one is better than the other. Adults need to get involved and take action especially if they see or hear bullying taking place. It needs to be dealt with right then and there, contrary to the belief that is will pass or that it is no big deal." If you are a bystander and you are watching someone being bullied, by not saying or doing something to stop it, Josey feels you are as bad as the bully, for not taking action. She also explained if you are scared, get someone to help. Fear can keep you from helping, like fear of being judged. It comes down to, If I don't tell someone, it might get really bad, so tell someone! There are always people to talk to. As far as Cyber Bullying …Josey was quick to say "it drives Me Crazy! I think it is worse than face to face bullying." The people who do it want attention from it and if it goes viral, it can get really bad. Often it is posted by an anonymous poster and the bullying will have something to do with image, body image.

Listed among the top 10 Hottest New Artists, Josey is a small town girl who takes her responsibility as a positive role model seriously. She also is a Shriner's Ambassador and has been very involved with the organization. As a "Shriners Kid" herself since the age of 5, Josey feels she projects an image everyone can relate to. "You just need to have self-confidence. Find that one little thing you love and you will get so much self-esteem from that." For Josey, her dreams are coming true! A self-taught singer, she is expecting to be writing her songs shortly, following in the same boots as some of her biggest influences: Patsy Kline, Josie Messina, George Strait and Miranda Lambert. For everyone out there, Josey recommends "having a dream and go out and do it!"
