Interview with Jeanie Cisco-Meth

In an interview with Lon Woodbury on January 14, 2015, Jeanie Cisco-Meth explained her concept of the best way to handle bullying. Cisco-Meth has been a teacher working with adolescents for many years and is developing a business based on her observations as a teacher. She provides seminars and training sessions throughout the country as well as online.

During the interview Cisco-Meth explained the most common way of handling bullying is to punish the perpetrator, which does not work. She then emphasized rather, that the heart of the solution is to help build confidence in the victims. Over time this is what inoculates the victim from a lasting negative impact from the bullying.
