We can learn much from the wisdom of great ancient thinkers when we are looking for the most important basic principles to teach struggling teens explained Dean Chavooshian, author of The Pursuit of Wisdom, to Lon Woodbury April 27, 2016. One example is the courage of Galileo, the early 17th century astronomer, who had the courage to challenge the all-powerful Christian Church in questioning Church teachings. He is an example of the courage all parents and healing programs can use to teach young people the value of having the courage to express who they are or to confront their fears.
