Using horses in therapy is a fairly new approach to healing struggling teens but has become increasingly popular in the last few years. Ashli Carlson, Equine Specialist for Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch in Montana joined Lon March 18, 2015 to explain how the interaction between a struggling teen and a horse can help the young person gain important insights into themselves and how they are defeating themselves. Exactly how and why this works so well in a therapeutic setting is what Ashli explains.
