Struggling teens often have trouble dealing with change. This is especially true of students on the Autism Spectrum or have learning differences so Chelsea Bourn, Transitional Living Coordinator with Glenholme School in Connecticut, joined Lon March 12, 2015 to explain how to help students learn to make transitions successful instead of a crisis. The key is to determine what the student's goal is, whether vocational, college or something else, and create experiences that will help them to know how to meet expectations to succeed in their goal.
