Listen to Trace Embry, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Shepherd's Hill Academy in Martin Georgia, as he explains to Lon on January 27, 2014 the advantages of a Christian Education, especially for struggling teens. Shepherd's Hill Academy is a therapeutic Christian residential program designed for behavior modification of troubled teenage boys and girls ages 12-17. First, he points out that Christian Education is time-tested, having had several centuries to learn and apply the principles contained in Scripture. The school is a hybrid between a wilderness program and a boarding school with therapeutics and based on Christian principles. Second, they can use nature and scripture principles to remove technology distractions and learn what is real and important in life. And, he emphasized that they prepare students to go back into society prepared to live a more balanced life.
