Ron and Kristie Campbell Educational Consultants of Woodbury Reports recently visited Dragonfly Transitions in Oregon, on a tour coordinated by Kay Ford of CKC Tours.
Dragonfly Transitions has three locations in Southern Oregon – Klamath Falls, Ashland, and the Homestead. The program is a nine to twelve month program that works with young adults ages 18-24 to help them transition into a healthy young adult life with independence and autonomy. Many have fallen off the average developmental curve due to drug and alcohol use, a mood disorder, identity issues, body image issues, family breakup, significant loss, and/or trauma. Dragonfly offers the opportunity for real world experience while providing a stable, supportive environment where students can flourish.
