Join us on LATalkRadio.com with guest Pamela Broker, Director and Owner of a young adult transition program: Milestones for Young Adults located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Monday, December 23, 2013 at noon- Pacific Time.

The discussion will address issues such as why our young adult children are frequently satisfied with staying at home…their parents' home, what can parents do to assist them in taking the steps towards their own independence? Just what do we mean by adult independence anyway? Why are these 20 something's not taking the initiative towards stepping out on their own? And how does the "self-centeredness of our society play a role in this problem?

Monday at noon, host Lon Woodbury will interview Pamela Broker, who has been working with teens, young adults and their families for many years. She has been an Executive Director of Admissions for six different programs, and currently is the Owner and Director of Milestones.

Showing throughout the interview will be Pamela sharing her love of working with young people and about her career in the field of private education and supportive living.
