We are pleased to announce the new Clinical Director for ViewPoint Center, Britten Lamb, LCSW, MSW. Britten has been a therapist for us since we opened in June.
Britten is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work and 10 years of field experience working with adolescents in residential, medical and outpatient settings. She has been an active part of our treatment team, developing and fostering collaborative relationships with fellow staff and advocating for our students. She is skilled at performing mental health assessments, developing and executing treatment plans, and conducting individual, group and family therapy sessions. She utilizes motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT, and other therapeutic techniques to help our students.
"I am excited to embark on my new role as Clinical Director," said Britten. "I am fortunate to work with people who are so dedicated and committed to providing quality care for students, and to fostering a healthy work environment. I am confident that our team will continue to passionately and determinedly ensure our students' needs are met."
Britten is a graduate of Weber State University and the University of Utah. Britten's passion for working with youth started at a young age, and she has volunteered extensively over the years to help teens in the community.
