With great enthusiasm V3 Tucson is announcing its formation of two new programs that will operate in addition to the successful 12 month residential program.
V3 OutReach is a 3 month program designed exclusive for contract with the United States military. Currently, active duty members of our armed forces are participating in a leading edge approach addressing needs of men and woman with co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to, bipolar disorder, depression, generalized anxiety disorder and post dramatic stress disorder. Globally the program addresses the model of stages of change, embracing the change process, relapse prevention utilizing cognitive behavior therapy. V3 Outreach's clients, those individuals who have been so willing to be of service to their country now have understanding professionals to walk beside them in another kind of battle.
V3 N.O.W, meets the needs of the person who is seeking a shorter period of strict structure with an assisted integration back into society. Phase one is an intensive, structured residential period of three months. The resident will fully participate in the daily schedules of the 12- month curriculum, therapy and activities. At the end of the third month the resident, family, and V3 Tucson evaluates progress and either continue structure or graduate to the next phase. Phase two is a flexible structure allowing the resident to live on the V3 Tucson campus and proceed into the community attending University of Arizona or Pima Community and/or gaining employment and establishing relationships in the recovery community while continuing to participate in therapy and counseling at V3 Tucson.
